We, the membership of First Baptist Church of Fort Payne, Alabama, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit do hereby commit ourselves to glorify God by our efforts:

To worship God as a united fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ.
To proclaim in Fort Payne and throughout the world the love of God and the good news of eternal life through Jesus Christ's saving work.
To respond to the joys, hurts, and needs of the members of our congregation, the people of our community, and of our world through Christian ministry and concern.
To develop and to equip our membership to grow toward Christian maturity as disciples of Jesus Christ.
