We have helped in such cases as the Katrina Hurricane and the Haiti earthquake.  Also we are always on go whenever a disaster happens near or far.  We work with the Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief efforts.

With the Haiti earthquake, we sent over 50 “buckets of hope” to Haiti which contained staple items.

We have helped rebuild when there has been destruction by tornados.

FBC is a helping hand working with other churches and organization in our community such as:

• DeKalb Inner Faith Medical Clinic – A free medical clinic

• First United Methodist Church – Distributing school bags, supplies, etc.

• Christian Care Center 

• Associational Missions

• Aid & Benevolence

• Save-A-Life

To these ministries we offer prayer, monetary help, and physical help if needed.
